USS Kidd DDS-661 Destroyer Warships of World War 2 Collectible Coin

USS Kidd DDS-661 Destroyer Warships of World War 2 Collectible Coin named for Admiral Isaac C. Kidd who lost his life onboard his flagship the USS Arizona when it was hit and sank at the attack on Pearl Harbor. Admiral Kidd was the first flag officer to lose his life in WW2. With its sleek lines the USS Kidd is shown with its 5 5 inch guns, loaded with 6 40mm guns, 7 20mm anti-aircraft guns, 10 21inch torpedo tubes and 6 K-gun depth charge throwers. The US flag in blue and red with silver accents and a sun ray behind the destroyer makes the presentation highly detailed. An aerial view shows the overall warship along with a deep hand painted blue enamel finishes this side of the coin. Her nickname “Pirate Of the Pacific” is clearly displayed as well. A truly remarkable WW2 collectible coin the USS Kidd Warships of World War 2 75th Anniversary Coin is perfect for your collection.
